Zucchero Concert Tickets

Zucchero Fornaciari is a popular Italian rock singer from Reggio Emilia, a province in northeastern Italy. He is known for his soulful ballads as much as his upbeat, rhythmic pieces. His stage name, Zucchero, is the Italian word for sugar and stems back to his school days, when his teacher would refer to him affectionately by the nickname. Zucchero tickets provide the opportunity to experience one of the greatest contributors to Italian pop music.

Zucchero’s first album, Un po’ di Zucchero (a little bit of sugar) was released in 1983. Zucchero has since worked with such music industry luminaries as Randy Jackson, Joe Cocker, Miles Davis and Ray Charles.

Often combining both Italian and English language lyrics into his songs, Zucchero reached international fame in the 1990s with hits across Europe. His album Oro Incenso e Birra was released in 1989 and has sold 8 million copies worldwide, making it the highest selling album by an Italian artist at the time. The title is a play on the Italian words for gold, frankincense and myrrh. The word birra is the Italian word for beer, making the English translation of the album title, "Gold, Frankincense and Beer."
