Crowd Was In To It, Great Encores, Great Sound, Perfect Set List
Best For:

Wilco's show at the McCarren Park Pool was the best concert I've seen this summer. The band was so tight, and played a terrific, varied set list that built towards two long encores that tore the place apart. In all they played pretty much non-stop for 2 1/2 hours. It was creative, surprising, perfectly played music; but then, it was Wilco. Wilco at their best.

Crowd Was In To It
Best For:

I guess not being a "die hard" fan I didn't realize people get tickets for every night they play. That translates to them not wanting to do too many repeat songs, which means the first & second night probably were the better days to go. Although Saturday was enjoyable, I heard they played a lot more songs I was hoping to hear the other nights. All in all though, I really enjoyed the show, these guys are fabulous.

Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Sound, My date loved it, Seats were perfect
Crowd was too laid back, My date broke up with me, No alcohol
Best For:

[...]-- kind of expensive, but the quality of the seats and show was well worth the price. Can't say i was thrilled that my date broke up with me after the concert -- he pretty much used me -- still what the heck, i had a great time seeing Wilco.

Wilco Concert Tickets

Over the last two decades, perhaps no band has been more influential than Wilco. Fronted by the creative force that is Jeff Tweedy and paced by the intricate guitar work of Nels Cline, the Chicago-based band has been at the top of the alternative rock world for years, and anybody who picks up Wilco tickets is in for a treat.

Wilco burst on the scene in the mid-1990s with a sound that was new to many music fans. Melding elements of folk, country and alternative rock, the band began to form a loyal fan following with albums such as A.M. and Summerteeth, but it wasn't until 2002 that Wilco would become a household name. That year, the band released Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, which is often considered one of the best albums of the decade thanks to classic hits such as "Jesus, etc." and "War on War."

Throughout much of the last 10-plus years, Wilco's success continued. Now-classic albums such as Sky Blue Sky and Impossible Germany helped broaden their fan base, and in 2011, the band released This Whole Love, which proves Tweedy and the gang have not lost their touch over the years.

Wilco remains one of the most frequently touring bands around today, whether they're headlining their own show or playing at Bonnaroo.
