Widespread Panic Concert Tickets

Drawing inspiration from southern rock, jazz and jam bands, Widespread Panic has evolved to become one of the most unique bands touring today. The Atlanta-based ensemble is among the most beloved live acts of the last two decades, and anybody who has picked up Widespread Panic tickets knows just how exciting one of their shows can be.

Widespread Panic formed in 1981 when lead singer John Bell was attending the University of Georgia. What started as a solo act quickly grew into a multi-piece jam band much like Phish and the Grateful Dead. After playing together for several years Widespread Panic, affectionately referred to as WSP by fans, released their first album 1988's Space Wrangler, and while it did not attract much attention outside of the band's passionate fan base, it laid the groundwork for their breakthrough.

After wrapping up the 80s, Widespread Panic made their big breakthrough in the 90s. Records such as Ain't Life Grand, Bombs and Butterflies and 'Til the Medicine Takes all performed well on the charts, all while the band was establishing itself as a life act that needs to be seen to be believed. As Widespread Panic enters its third decade, they show no signs of slowing down, much to the delight of their legions of fans.
