The play and cast were excellent. But we missed so much because of the seating patterns. Even with orchestra seating,there is always a head blocking part of the stage and it makes it miserable!
This production of Virginia Woolf was incredible. Kathleen Turner and Bill Irwin performed these roles to perfection! The powerful emotions these two brought to the stage captured the audience from the opening scene -- and left many in tears over Ms. Turner's heart wrenching finish. The supporting cast, Kathleen Early and David Furr, were excellent.
Bill Irwin brought a fresh new dimension to a role I thought I knew, based on the movie with Taylor and Burton. And Kathleen Turner was extraordinary! Wow! Felt like I lived through the whole thing with them, exhausted and thrilled and moved. Whew!
