Weird Al Yankovic Concert Tickets

Gaining fame through becoming the foremost song parodist during the early years of MTV, Weird Al Yankovic took the world of novelty records by storm. Weird Al humorously reworks everything from gansta rap to pop to new wave music, and if you think he's hilarious on albums, get your Weird Al Yankovic tickets today to catch this character LIVE.

When he was a teen, Yankovic began sending homemade tapes of his songs to Dr. Demento, a national disc-jockey known to play comedy and novelty music. Dr. Demento enjoyed Yankovic's accordion-heavy songs and provided him his first air time. By the time Yankovic graduated college he had developed a cult following and went on to sign with Scotti Bros. Records in 1982. Yankovic gets permission from the original writers before he makes a parody of their songs. While the law allows him to do so either way, he believes it's important.

Yankovic's inspirations include Stan Freberg, Spike Jones, Allan Sherman, Tom Lehrer, Shel Silverstein and Frank Zappa. Yankovic has made 13 studio albums, and recently has parodied music from Nirvana, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Coolio and many others. He also has three Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album, Best Concept Music Video and Best Comedy Performance Single or Album, Spoken or Musical. Don't miss seeing Weird Al LIVE!
