I heard this was a really great play, however, after seeing it, I don't understand how it lasted as long as it has. The story line was boring, the singing was what I would imagine karoake night at the local bar to be like and the acting was quite amateurish. I was very glad I hadn't paid full price for my ticket. I quite honestly felt like I was at a high school play! It was like the actors hadn't ever heard a Queen song before. It was very disappointing, to say the least. A lot of the audience seemed impressed, so maybe if it's your first play you've ever been to or you're not used to a quality performance, you'd enjoy it. A lot of people treated it like a rock concert or sporting event and had a lot of beer, maybe that's what I was missing! I really would not recommend this to anyone who enjoys theatre.

This was a BRUTAL experience. I have been a fan of Queen for 30 years. As a result of this evening I will be hard pressed to ever listen to Queen again without scratching my eyes out or riping my ears out of my head. I actually believe that I may now suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. I appreciate that this production was simply an excuse to experience Queen's music, but the plot and the script were so lame that they actually made me dislike Queen. The "message" of the production was that soulless corporate music threatens "rock and roll". However, this production makes American Idol seem really edgy - this is the most commercial piece of garbage I have ever had the misfortune of sitting through. The fact that members of Queen were involved in this disaster makes it tempting to burn all of my Queen CDs. Freddie Mercury must be spinning in his grave.
This show was absolutley amazing! It is honestley the best show I have seen in years there were definetley no cons in this production, great job by the whole cast!! Well worth the money!
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The music was fantastic and I would go back again today if I could. The story is fun and entertaining if a little corny. The humour is great. There were no weak links amongst the top 5 singers in the show.
