Vampire Weekend Tickets

When they first arrived on the scene in the mid-2000s, there were few bands like Vampire Weekend, and more than seven years later there still aren't. The New York City-based quartet has created an entirely unique sound - sometimes described as Baroque-pop - that has captured the attention of throngs of fans, who pick up Vampire Weekend tickets whenever they go on sale.

Vampire Weekend can trace its origins to 2006 when front man Ezra Koenig teamed up with three other former Columbia University students. It wasn't long before they got to work on their self-titled debut album, which was released in 2008. The record drew influence from a wide variety of world music, something that was especially evident on tracks such as "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" and "Mansard Roof," and its unique alternative style earned considerable critical acclaim.

After the success of their debut, Vampire Weekend upped the ante with their sophomore record, 2010's Contra. Yet another critical favorite, the album featured more pop-oriented tunes and helped grow their fan base even further. By the time 2013's Modern Vampires of the City hit shelves, Vampire Weekend had established themselves as one of the biggest bands on the indie rock scene, being featured at festivals like Coachella, and they won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
