Energy Solutions Arena - Jazz game
By jd from SLC, Ut on 5/18/2008
Pros:
Great Style Of Play, High Energy, Stadium Packed
Cons:
Replay screens suck

I haven't been to a Jazz game in several years. The big screens sucked then and still do. Much better to watch at home in order to really see the game. Why doesn't the Jazz invest in some decent large plasma displays like in other stadiums around the league? I would even go to regular season games if they did.

Utah Jazz Basketball Tickets

With a name like the Jazz, you can expect this team to play with the sass and spunk that wins the hearts of fans and takes home titles. Fans who purchase Utah Jazz tickets are in for a good game whether they're playing at home or away.

Even though Salt Lake City has adopted the lively moniker, the franchise didn't actually start in The Crossroads of the West. It may come as no surprise that the Jazz were originally founded in New Orleans and were known then as the New Orleans Jazz. Founded in 1974, the franchise only lasted a few short years in their original Big Easy hometown due to logistical problems. The name stuck, but the team only lasted five years in New Orleans - the franchise moved to Utah in 1979. Whisked off to Salt Lake City, Utah, the Jazz found their happily ever after home.

Since then, the Jazz have been a part of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference in the NBA. Despite a few solid years early in the franchise's history, the Jazz didn't actually make a playoff game until they were 10 years into the league. Since their initial slump, the team has rarely missed playoff action. The Jazz may have yet to win a NBA Championship title, but they have brought home multiple conference and division titles. Key players like John Stockton and Karl Malone dazzled home audiences in the late 1980s, being called two of the most popular duos to watch.

Other notable players and Basketball Hall of Famers that helped build the team include Pete "Pistol" Maravich, Karl Malone and Deron Williams. While no true fierce rivalries exist for the franchise they have clashed with the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers.

A great ticket anytime, the reviews declare that a Jazz game is a great experience for the whole family. This year could belong to the Jazz! Make sure you are courtside at EnergySolutions Arena to watch your favorite players LIVE! Don't miss a moment of the action; purchase your Utah Jazz tickets today!
