Tyler the Creator Concert Tickets

Tyler, the Creator, is a rapper, producer and the brains behind the hip hop collective Odd Future. The young musician, skateboarder and fashion designer has proven that he has a wide range of talents. Going under a laundry list of aliases, Okonma released his breakthrough mixtape Bastard in 2009. Two music videos accompanied the album, both directed by the rapper himself. After Bastard garnered positive reviews with critics and fans, Tyler signed on with XL Records in early 2011.

He released his first studio album, Goblin, in May of the same year, with the single “Yonkers” bringing Tyler’s notoriety to new heights. Tyler handled nearly all the production on the album, and Goblin dived into a variety of subject matter such as critics, fame and the media. Bastard and Goblin led to recording sessions with Lil Wayne and Waka Flocka. Wolf, his second studio album, followed in 2013. This work broke away from the theme of violence that encompasses his previous two albums, and though Wolf still has a dark edge to it, overall it is more upbeat.

Tyler, the Creator has also worked in film, both directing his own music videos and acting in the Odd Future production “Loiter Squad.” He has become a leader in not only the alternative rap circles, but also the skateboard culture of Los Angeles.
