Tune-Yards Concert Tickets

An explosion of indie-pop with global influences, Tune-Yards produces fun, sunny, head- nodding, foot-tapping, sing-out-loud melodies. Headed up by experimental lo-fi folk artist Merrill Garbus, Tune-Yards sees Garbus using a voice recorder as well as a whole host of various found sounds and ukulele riffs thrown in for good measure. The project has grown considerably since those early days and now includes bassist Nate Brenner, who has lent his own polished edge to the Tune-Yards sound. Be sure to pick up a pair of Tune-Yards tickets to experience the eclectic songs for yourself!

The band's first album, Bird Brains, was independently produced and released online as a pay-what- you-can product. The album picked up a lot of steam on various music blogs and was eventually able to raise over $1,000 for Garbus.

Tune-Yards' 2014 album Nikki Nack was produced with Malay and John Hill - a duo known for creating much of the international vibe of M.I.A.'s music.   The collaboration has produced some of the Tune-Yards' most accessible work, as evidenced by the band's performance of the song "Water Fountain" on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
