Tony at the Greek, September 12, 2008

I'm a recent fan of Tony and love listening to his music. However, at the Greek, He sang for a total of 75 minutes. At [$]a ticket (me and the wife), I felt a little short changed. At least I can now check "A Tony Bennett concert" off the list.

Memorably Great

Overall, we had an amazing time. We rented a limo (Limelight Limousine) for the 10 of us, went to a fun restaurant (Tangiers) and had great seats at the Greek. The only disappointment was that Tony didn't have an encore song and he didn't sing a duet with his daughter who opened for him. Other than that, the venue was terrific - way better than Hollywood Bowl.

Amazing showmanship - Captivating Show!

Tony Bennett's concert far exceeded my expectations. Mr. Bennett is in full, wonderful voice and sings some of the most beautiful songs written. He brings with him some extradordinary musicians and shares them with the audience via small solos within many of the songs that are performed. He sang for almost two hours and left the audience still wanting more. May have been the BEST concert I have ever attended!
