Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have been creating hit songs for over thirty years and have never once showed any signs of slowing down. Tom Petty first showed interest in music when he had the opportunity to meet Elvis Presley at the age of ten. His desire to perform as part of a band came after viewing a performance by The Beatles on their famous Ed Sullivan show performance. After brief stints with band The Sundowners, The Epics and Mudcrutch, Tom Petty began his hall of fame recording with career with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers in 1976. After a luke-warm reception to their debut album, the band began to get attention in the United States due mainly to the buzz they were receiving in England. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers released their second album, "You're Gonna Get it!", the following year and it became the group's first gold record. With the success of their second album, Tom Petty tickets became some of the most popular around, and the group's rise to the top was just beginning.

Tom Petty left the Heartbreakers in 1988 to become one of the founding members of the Super Group Traveling Wilburys, which included Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lynne. The following year marked the release of Tom Petty's solo album "Full Moon Fever" and contained the hits "I Won't Back Down", "Free Fallin" and "Runnin' Down a Dream." Tom Petty rejoined with the Heartbreakers in 1991 and continues to tour with them today. Tom Petty tickets have always been in high demand, and today is no exception.
