Tood Rundgren Concert Tickets

Todd Rundgren may be best known for his work with Meatloaf on "Bat Out of Hell," but the underground legend has bounced around the music industry with stints as a solo artist, music producer and disc jockey. Considered to be one of the greatest cult rock heroes, Rundgren has dabbled in pop, electronic, psychedelic and progressive rock. Even today, Todd Rundgren tickets are a hot commodity, and fans of the legend maintain a connection with the artist through his self-maintained website.

Hailing from Pennsylvania, Rundgren reached national stardom by the late 1960s as the lead guitarist in the psychedelic group, Nazz. But it wasn't until the release of Something/Anything?, a double album, that he gained the reputation as a musical mastermind. By 1980, Rundgren had joined the new wave group, Utopia. The band experimented in mixing synthesizer beats with pop vocals and dense instrumentals.

During the same time, Rundgren came back in full force with the solo track "Time Heals," the second music video to hit the airwaves on MTV and the first video to blend computer graphics with live motion. Throughout the years, Rundgren has remained in the music industry, working behind the scenes, in film and television song writing and as a radio disc jockey on the acclaimed program, "The Difference with Todd."
