VIP 'benefits' a rip off
By Mara from CINCINNATI, OH on 3/1/2008
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Sound
Best For:
Everyone

The 'VIP' benefits were a rip off...our VIP parking was in a public parking garage (as long as you get there early, it was accessible to anyone)-nothing special & our VIP wrist bands only gave us access to the restaurant..not the artists who performed, seats weren't too bad but, definetly could've been better! I paid nearly [$] for 4 tix, esp. for the VIP benefits-I don't think tix were worth it! THE CONCERT ITSELF & THE ARTISTS WERE AWESOME..DON'T KNOW IF YOU COULD GET ANY BETTER!!

tobyMac Concert Tickets

For years Christian music mostly fell into one of two categories: rock and gospel. That all changed with the arrival of tobyMac. One of the first Christian hip hop solo artists, the Virginia native has helped establish himself over the last few decades and today fans of all kinds pick up tobyMac tickets.

tobyMac, whose real name is Toby McKeehan, got his start in the late 1980s, as one third of the Christian rap trio DC Talks. Along with Michael Tait and Kevin Max Smith, tobyMac and the group quickly rose to become one of the most popular Christian acts in the world. DC Talks enjoyed considerable success through the 90s, but it was clear that tobyMac was destined to go solo.

His debut album, Momentum, hit shelves in 2001 and it was an instant hit. With tracks like "Irene" and "Somebody's Watching," the record was a critical favorite and helped set the stage for what would be a good decade.

Throughout the 2000s, tobyMac remained one of the most prolific artists of any genre. Whether it was his 2008 album Alive and Transported or 2010's Tonight, which cracked the top 10 on the Billboard 200, it's clear tobyMac is here to stay.
