I felt that justice was not done for the two main characters. The acting was sub-par and the two leads never were quite likeable enough. Especially the Julia character. The comic timing was off, so the generally unresponsive audience had even less to react to. The audio mix was also a little poor. Some of the leads were a bit pitchy, which I think was a result of their inability to hear the backing music well. Overall I was disappointed. The show wasn't SO terrible, it just lacked the heart to make it truly great. Also I'm totally biased because I'd seen it before on broadway with the original cast. You just can't beat Stephen Lynch.
I bought E-Orch N row seats for my fiance for her Birthday, she LOVED the show. It has something for everyone, and I found myself having a great time and recommending it to people all weekend.
The production was wonderful! The cast was placed and they performed well. The music and vocals were spot on and the night was highly entertaining. Everything was enjoyable!!
I pleased to hear the movie "The Wedding Singer" was being made into a play. The play was well put together from the movie. The play was very funny. Also I was happy because my boyfriend came with me and he enjoyed it,so I enjoyed it more.
