The Wailers Concert Tickets

The legendary Bob Marley may be gone, but his backup band, The Wailers, still plays on. Bob Marley & The Wailers redefined reggae music and made it a global presence in the 1960s and 70s. After Marley’s death, in 1981, The Wailers took the sound they had made famous in the decades previous and began to travel the world, playing live in front of adoring audiences. To see these near-mythical musicians live, purchase The Wailers tickets now.

Over the years, a revolving cast of characters has played under the banner of The Wailers or Bob Marley & The Wailers. It all started when Marley teamed up with his reggae master peers Peter Tosh and Bunny Livingston. But when their partnership dissolved, Marley renamed his backup band with the now iconic title and went on tour.

The rest is history. Bob Marley & The Wailers went on to embody the way reggae music is viewed around the globe over the next 15 years. And when Marley tragically fell ill and died in 1981, the remaining Wailers decided to carry on his tradition, and continue to evolve in their own right. That evolution continues to this day, as The Wailers still wail at every opportunity.
