This is a very engaging play. The best of all actors is Andrew Scott. He TOOK the show. Julianne Moore's Broadway Debut was good but not great. She seemed ill at ease except when she was debating with Bill Nighy's character. But maybe that was the whole point---she came alive when she was with him. With the others, and with Andrew Scott's character who was a man she was supposed to be engaged to, she paled and it seemed forced. Nevertheless, she is a lovely lady and of course, I LOVE her in the movies. I think she has super potential for more live casting and I'll go see her again to learn more about her range. This is the way theater should be, an exchange of ideas within a play that is well written, well rounded and with acting that blows you away. It more than met my expectations. The set and music perfectly matched the story. Each character had a little bit of all of us, with our "issues, unresolved issues"

Loved the writing and the actors were all GOOD, Bill was outstanding, I thought. I know this was the second night and it kind of showed as far as the interaction between the actors. I love Julianne Moore but felt she wasn't quite warmed up. For $[...] per ticket, I would expect a better show.
