The Tubes Concert Tickets

Coming from San Francisco, The Tubes hit it big after the successful release of their self-titled album, produced by single, Al Kooper and featuring "White Punks on Dope" in 1975. The Tubes tickets have always been highly sought-after, as the group maintained a reputation for putting on wild satires and outrageous LIVE performances. Comprised on Fee Waybill, Roger Steen, Prairie Prince, Rick Anderson and David Medd, The Tubes met in high school in Arizona.

The Tubes made it big with their eclectic blend of new wave, punk and rock, coupled with theater-like performances and raging political antics. The group was featured in the musical fantasy "Xanadu" in 1980, and was one of the first musical acts played on MTV in the network's early years.

Concerts seemingly turned into vaudeville productions during The Tubes' peak in the limelight, but their avant garde theatrics made way for a turbulent future. After being on A&M Records for three full-length albums, they were dropped in 1982. Shortly after, Capital Records picked the band up and helped them release the concept album, The Completion Backward Principle. Years later, The Tubes found themselves in debt and without a lead singer. Today, The Tubes still play together for the fans of their late 70s and early 80s hits.
