The Sunshine Boys Theater Tickets

Ever since making its Broadway debut in 1972, The Sunshine Boys, written by legendary American playwright Neil Simon, has been part of the pantheon of modern theater. A story about a retired vaudevillian duo who are coming together for one last performance, The Sunshine Boys' two main characters have been favorite roles for multiple generations of performers. So, get The Sunshine Boys tickets.

Known as Lewis and Clark during their days as a popular Vaudeville act, Al Lewis and Willy Clark, the two main characters in the play, haven't spoken to one another in decades despite having spent years performing together. Now, in 1972, CBS is producing a special on the history of comedy, and Clark's nephew, Ben, a producer with the network, convinces him to reunite with Lewis for one last performance. In 1995, the play was adapted for Hallmark TV starring Woody Allen and Peter Falk with supporting roles by Micheal McKena, Liev Schreiber, Edie Falco, Sarah Jessica Parker and Whoopi Goldberg.

The interplay between the entertainment veterans as they try to repair their fractured friendship, as well as prepare for their first performance since leaving the stage a lifetime before, leads to laughs, tears and insight into human relationships. Not to mention, a lesson in comedy and its history. So catch The Sunshine Boys while you still can.
