The Roots Concert Tickets

For more than two decades, The Roots have helped push the envelope of hip hop and funk, and today they are one of the most recognizable bands in the music world. Whether they're out on tour or playing on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," making the decision to pick up The Roots tickets is an easy one.

The seeds were planted for The Roots in the late 1980s, but it wasn't until the early 1990s that they began to grow. Fronted by lead vocalist Black Thought, the band released its debut album, Organix, in 1993 to much critical acclaim. Though it did not gain much traction commercially, that all changed in 1995 with the release of Do You Want More?!!!??! - which performed well on hip hop charts. In 1996, The Roots released their third record, Illadelph Halflife, which cracked the Billboard 200's top 40 and came to be recognized as one of the best hip hop albums, firmly establishing their place in the industry.

Over the next decade, The Roots continued to be at the top of their game. They released a string of successful albums throughout the 2000s including Phrenology and Undun, while also collaborating with some of the best artists in the business, such as John Legend, D'Angelo and Monsters of Folk. 2001's Phrenology helped broaden their audience base. During this time, they have also played with some of the best known acts including Jay Z, Dave Mathews Band and Mos Def.

Today, The Roots remain one of the hardest working bands in the music business. Don't miss your chance to see them rock out on stage. Buy The Roots tickets now!
