The Mavericks Concert Tickets

Mixing country roots with rock and roll, The Mavericks were named the Vocal Group of the Year at both the 1995 and 1996 Country Music Awards. Raul Malo, Roberto Reynolds, Paul Deakin and Eddie Perez formed the band in Miami, FL, in 1989 where they played their unique brand of alt-country Americana rock at various rock clubs around the city. Their 1990 independent album caused a stir among nearly every record label that heard it, and the group chose to sign with MCA Records after a showcase gig in Nashville in 1991. All these years later, and Mavericks tickets are still one of the hottest sellers on the market.

The Mavericks enjoyed almost unparalleled success in the early 1990s with singles such as “O What A Thrill” and “There Goes My Heart” reaching into the Billboard Top 20. In 1995, the band had its cover of "Blue Moon" featured in the 1995 movie “Apollo 13,” starring Tom Hanks. The success of that film along with the popularity of The Maverick’s earlier releases led to platinum sales of the group’s 1995 album What a Crying Shame. Similar to BR5-49 and Blackhawk, the band continues to find huge success with its genre-defying music.
