The Hold Steady Concert Tickets

Craig Finn, Tad Kubler, Bob Drake, Franz Nicolay and Galen Polivka make up the pop rock group The Hold Steady. The band started when vocalist and guitarist Finn moved to New York city from Minneapolis in 2000. Inspired by the Replacements and the Grifters, The Hold Steady sought to buck the popular trends of the New York music scene at the time. Get your The Hold Steady tickets for your chance to see the quartet perform live.

With a sound that has been compared to bands such as The Gaslight Anthem and The Good Life, The Hold Steady released its first album in 2004. Titled Almost Killed Me, the debut was produced by Frenchkiss Records and features mainly live recordings. The band has since worked with a range of labels, such as Vagrant, Universal Music Canada, Razor & Tie and Washington Square, throughout their career.

After a brief departure by Craig Finn in 2012 to pursue a solo project, the band has regrouped and is better than ever. In 2013, the band recorded a song for the Game of Thrones soundtrack, firmly rooting the group in contemporary pop culture.
