The Head and the Heart Concert Tickets

The Head and the Heart, an indie folk-rock band from Seattle, Washington, was formed in the summer of 2009 by Josiah Johnson and Jonathan Russell. Their influences include everything from country-rock and Americana to Beatle-esque pop. Johnson and Russell met at an open mic event at Seattle's Conor Byrne Pub. Soon after, bassist Chris Zasche, violinist Charity Rose, pianist Kenny Hensley and former Prabir & the Substitutes drummer Tyler Williams joined the group. In 2010, the group toured the Pacific Northwest before releasing their eponymous debut in June. That fall, they signed with Sub Pop. The next year, they reissued their first album with remastered tracks like "Sounds like Hallelujah," and one new song, "Rivers and Roads." The songs on this album evoked memories of leaving home, finding home and even rediscovering yourself.

The Head and the Heart has generously accepted nearly every show offered to them, from coffee shops and open mics to backyards strung with whimsical Christmas lights. In 2012, they returned to Seattle to record their sophomore release, Let's Be Still, which was released in 2013 and includes the tracks "Homecoming Heroes," "Another Story" and "Summertime."

Their sound has been compared to that of The Avett Brothers and Aunt Martha, and garners a loyal fan following. Don't miss your chance to see The Head and the Heart perform LIVE! Buy The Head and the Heart tickets now!
