The Avett Brothers Concert Tickets

Blending traditional bluegrass with rock 'n' roll, The Avett Brothers hold a special place in the hearts of indie folk fans. After a striving for years to make a name for themselves, the group has amassed a solid fan base and proven that hard work really can pay off in the music industry. Experience the act's unique approach to roots rock - get The Avett Brothers tickets today.

The Avett Brothers had humble beginnings in North Carolina and spent many of their formative years as musicians unnoticed even locally. Core duo, brothers Scott and Seth Avett, made music together in their youth and played in a band called Nemo. They went on to start a side project, "the Back Door Project," which would be renamed to "The Avett Brothers." The band eventually took on bassist Bob Crawford, as well as touring members Joe Kwon and Mike Marsh.

In the years that followed, the group released several full-length studio albums and toured extensively. But the group's biggest hit to date remains 2009's I and Love and You. Produced by Rick Rubin, it was their major-label debut and hit No.16 on the charts. Despite their long struggle to the top, the band is still going strong, putting out new material and touring all around the country. In 2011, The Avett Brothers played at the Grammy Awards belting out fan favorite, "Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise" before joining Mumford & Sons and Bob Dylan on stage performing "Maggie's Farm."
