Great Seats - Spoiled by the Drunks
By KB from Fort Worth, TX on 9/23/2008
Pros:
Uneventful
Cons:
Boring Style of Play
Best For:
True Baseball Fans

Took my foreign exchange students to experience baseball. There was no action between the second inning and the ninth. Unfortunately there were three men near us drinking heavily and continually shouted and screamed at the players NON STOP the WHOLE game.[...] On the possitive, at least the gentlemen did not use profanity.

Texas Rangers Baseball Tickets

The Texas Rangers, founded in 1961, originally called Washington D.C. home. Current members of the American League, the Rangers are an Arlington, Texas, hometown favorite; winning fans over through determined and unrelenting play. The team, named after the law enforcement agency in Texas, plays at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, so fans looking to get a real taste of life in the south can pick up Texas Rangers tickets to gain a true understanding of the people and the sport they love.

Despite the Texas Rangers large fan base, the team didn't actually start in the Lone Star State. They played as the Washington Senators before moving again to Minnesota and finally securing their spot as the Rangers in 1971. The Rangers have had a turbulent career, and while they don’t hold a slew of titles, pennants or World Series championship triumphs, they are home to a number of Baseball Hall of Famers including Nolan Ryan, Bert Blyleven and Ferguson Jenkins. Characteristic of the intense MLB rivalries, the Texas Rangers have a natural nemesis in the state’s other professional baseball team; the Houston Astros. This contention stems from sharing a state along with the Lone Star Series that sets these two teams up to do battle with one another.

The Rangers have enjoyed six trips to post-season play over their first 50-plus years, and advanced to the World Series in 2010 and 2011. The team was ultimately beat by the Giants in a five game series in 2010 and again by the St. Louis Cardinals the following year. Though the goal of bringing a World Series title home eluded Rangers fans during the 2000s, the team's following was been treated to two American League pennants - one after a six game series with the New York Yankees.

Whether the game is on home turf or away, the Texas Rangers draw crowds of fans that love the team’s level of play! Fans declare that the Rangers are a great baseball experience for the whole family! Make sure that you are close to the action at Rangers Ballpark to cheer your favorite players on when you purchase your Texas Rangers baseball tickets today!
