The show was fantastic. I don't know why the critics were so unkind in reviewing this production. The entire cast was so strong, the voices wonderful, the acting top-notch, movement SO fluid, strong and agile. We laughed, cried... The STRONGEST thing I have to say about our experience with this show is that people need to think for themselves and not base the choice of shows solely upon the reviews of others. Not everyone is looking for the same thing in a live performance experience... learn about the shows you are interested in and follow your heart. Had I listened to the negative reviews, I would not have gotten tickets for this show at all... and it turned out to be the most powerful theater experience for us of the 4 we went to see... one night before the recently announced final curtain on this production... and I am certain the reason for the show being pulled is NOT because of quality, but because of the influence of the critics. Thank goodness we went anyway... I will never forget how great that evening was.

I have been trying for several years to get my three children (ages 11,9,7) to fall in love with live theatre. They were not excited about going to this play. But in the first 5 minutes, Tarzan had them hooked! I could see it in their faces! They asked for the CD. (which I gladly purchased) They waited outside the stage door to gather signatures of the cast. The cast was so kind with the waiting children and adults. Even encouraged pictures. The kids sang the songs the whole 3 hour trip home. As a mom, I went in saying "someday you will thank me for this". I did not have to wait long - they were thankful before we left the theatre. Success!

Swingin and singin

fun and appreciative for the actors, as they have to mimic Ape behavior.

We were there with my 10 yr old Daughter & 20 year old niece, it was awesome, great for all ages. Had seats close to stage, but it looks like seating from where ever you are will be great. Great show, great music & performances.
