This is the second time I have seen Kweli live and he didn't dissappoint. The first time I saw him was in '99 along with Mos Def when they were still Black Star. His energy was unmatched by any performer I have ever witnessed. Although the sound was not at it's best, the energy of Kweli and the crowd overmatched it. By far one of the best hip-hop shows I have ever attended. I especially enjoyed the intimacy of the venue partly because I have seen shows in large venues as well as small ones. I would see another show at the Grenada any day of the week.
