Sondheim music was excellent and the singers gave a wonderful interpretation. The characters of Johanna and Antony were just too slapstick. I thought she looked deranged during several of the songs. Antony looked like he was chewing cud most of the time.
This was an expensive disappointment. We were expecting the Broadway Production and saw someone's strange vision of the play. Sondheim would die of humiliation! I would like a refund!
Tickets were very expensive, but did this for my daughter's birthday. I will never pay this much again ([$] for [$] seat) Show itself was incredible!!
