Great time and especially enjoyed staying after to watch dogs enjoy win. Also impressed with Hawai'i's fans. They stayed and cheered until the end and gave their team a standing ovation at the end. June Jones won't find that at SMU. He better stay on the island. Appreciation like that is hard to find. Great time. Great fans.

Sugar Bowl Football Tickets

Certain post-season college football games stand above the rest, and the Sugar Bowl is certainly one of them. Held each year in New Orleans, the contest has become one of the most anticipated New Year's Day bowl games in the sport, and anybody with Sugar Bowl tickets will be in for one of the best spectacles in sports.

The inaugural Sugar Bowl was held in 1935, and it has been a staple of the college football post season ever since, while providing fans with some of the most memorable moments in the sport's history. Today, the game is held at Mercedes-Benz Superdome - the home of the NFL's New Orleans Saints - and pits the South Eastern Conference champion (unless they're in the national title game) against one of the best teams from any other conferences.

One of the best Sugar Bowls in recent memory took place in 2006. The game featured West Virginia, then of the Big East, against SEC champ Georgia. The Bulldogs came in as heavy favorites, but the Mountaineers - led by quarterback Pat White and running back Steve Slaton - came away with a shocking 38-35 upset.

New Orleans is one of the best sports cities in the United States, and being home to the Sugar Bowl is a big reason why.
