Stoney LaRue Concert Tickets

Looking for a new country artist to add to your music library? How about Stoney LaRue? This soulful singer combines his country roots with touches of rock and blues for a unique sound that audiences can't get enough of. LaRue grew up in Taft, TX, which is where he first fell in love with country music. A fan of Southern rock and classic country ballads, the singer's father even played bass in a few local bands, so it's safe to say that LaRue's love for music started early. Pick up your Stoney LaRue tickets to be a part of his passionate live show.

In the early 2000s, LaRue became a part of the "Red Dirt" Oklahoma musical community along with fellow country stars Jason Boland, Mike McClure and Cross Canadian Ragweed. Just a few years later in 2002, the performer released his first album, Downtown. The album was recorded live at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, Okla., to give the record an intimate feel.

His second album, The Red Dirt Album, was released in 2005 and included songs with both a rock-influence and that famous country twang. Audiences have compared the album to the likes of Johnny Cash, Sublime and Willie Nelson. LaRue does a rendition of Bob Dylan's "Forever Young" that was a popular hit on the album.
