By Kim from Eugene on 9/3/2008
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Sound, Great Staff, Perfect Set List
Cons:
Ditch folding chairs
Best For:

[...] Great venue. Needed more help at wine/beer booths. Lines too long. Needed booth with STP merchandise inside booze garden. White folding chairs became a hazard as they were being tossed aside. Otherwise, awesome concert. Can't wait to come back again. Thanks.

Stone Temple Pilots Concert Tickets

The early 1990s was one of the best eras in music, and a lot of that was thanks to Stone Temple Pilots (STP). Along with bands like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, the San Diego foursome helped pioneer a sound that still persists to this day. Though the heyday of grunge has come and gone, Stone Temple Pilot tickets still offer fans the chance to see a great show.

STP formed when Scott Weiland teamed up with bassist Robert DeLeo. The duo soon started to develop a local following around the San Diego area, but their appeal quickly spread beyond the Golden State. In 1992, the band, which had grown to a foursome, released its first albumCore. The record was a big success, cracking the top five on the Billboard 200 and containing "Plush," which is often recognized as their best-known single.

Throughout the rest of the 90s, Stone Temple Pilots continued to be radio staples. Songs such as "Interstate Love Song" and "Vasoline" helped the band further its appeal to mainstream crowds, and by the end of the decade they were one of the biggest rock bands of the era.

More recently, Stone Temple Pilots have been out of the public eye, but when they emerge they put on one of the best performances around.
