Stone Sour Concert Tickets

Before Slipknot, singer Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root made their rounds, playing the Iowa bar circuit as Stone Sour. After Slipknot's mainstream success during the late 1990s, the duo teamed up again, reforming Stone Sour in the early 2000s. Their heavy metal influence came from Metallica and Alice in Chains, shaping the hard rock sound that would resonate with fans and quickly earn the group a pair of gold-selling albums and a slew of Grammy nominations, making Stone Sour tickets hard to come by.

In 2002, Root and Taylor crewed up with Josh Rand and Sean Econmaki, and laid down a full-length track, re-recording some original demos. The self-titled release landed the group two Grammy nominations and was later certified gold. With the addition of drummer Joel Ekman, the group recorded another album, releasing the hit single "Bother," which was featured on the film soundtrack of "Spider Man."

The group followed up the single's success with a tour, later taking a hiatus when group member's Taylor and Root turned their attention to Slipknot once again. In 2006, the group released a second album, produced by Nick Raskulinecz of Foo Fighters. With the album and the success of the single "Through Glass," the group launched their Family Values tour with heavy-hitters like Korn and Deftones.

Though Taylor and Root would again refocus their attention on Slipknot, Stone Sour would reform again in 2010, releasing Audio Secrecy, and their 2012 release, House of Gold & Bones, Pt. 1, followed by House of Golf & Bones, Pt. 2, a year later.
