Audience Loved It, Very Funny

I have seen SW several times and would go again today if he was near here (come to GA, Mr. Wright!) You will laugh the whole show. His humor is so dry and smart! The best part is that you laugh so hard you wont remember a single joke when you come out! I fell in love with SW's humor...wow...maybe 30-35 yrs ago when I heard him say something to the effect of (paraphrasing)"you know that feeling you get when you are leaning back in your chair on 2 legs and you start to fall? I feel like that all the time."

I had seen this comedian on TV a few times, but nothing could have prepared me for just how entertaining Steven Wright would be. He delivered nonstop laughs for over and hour and a half - my face literally hurt from smiling so long!

Steven Wright Theater Tickets
Steven Wright is somewhat of an anomaly in a world where observational humor reigns supreme. Famous for his deadpan delivery, the Cambridge, Massachusetts, native has been a popular act on the stand-up comedy scene for more than two decades, and anybody who picks up Steven Wright tickets will quickly see why.

Wright got his big break in the early 1980s when he was performing at a small club in Cambridge. Not long afterward he was performing on "The Tonight Show" for Johnny Carson. He quickly began to rise through the ranks of popular stand-ups, culminating in his 1985 debut album I Have a Pony.

As his reputation grew, Wright became more visible, eventually appearing in a number of hit films such as Madonna's "Desperately Seeking Susan" and "Natural Born Killers." Yet despite his growing stardom, Wright remained true to his roots, with one-liners and non sequiturs earning big laughs, similar to fellow stand-up legend Mitch Hedberg.

Musings such as "Imagine if birds were tickled by feathers" have made Wright one of the most prolific and popular stand-ups around, and though he's been a household name for years, he won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
