Cons:
Hoping for an encore

Steve and his band were great!! I especially liked the cut that Steve did playing the mandolin! The sax/flute player I also really enjoyed. Would definitely go see him again. We also bumped into the parents of a student at Berkery that traded us tickets for a nice upgrade in the orchestra section so they could sit together with their son!

Every song was a hit. We had forgotten how many outstanding songs he has written and what a great musician he is. Also, the music was a good combo of rock and jazz.

Steve Winwood Concert Tickets

With an instantly recognizable vocal style, Steve Winwood has established himself as one of the most accomplished performers of the last four decades. His smooth R&B and blues-infused rock endeared him to a wide array of fans, many of whom rush to pick up Steve Winwood tickets.

Winwood's presence in the music industry dates back to early 1960s when he was still in his teens. He spent much of his time playing in a number of bands, but it wasn't until he teamed up with Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech to form the group Blind Faith that his career took off. After that partnership dissolved, Winwood embarked on a solo career - a move that certainly paid off.

Winwood released his self-titled solo debut in 1977 and it set off a string of successful records. Throughout the 80s, a number of popular Winwood albums hit the shelves including 1986's Back in the High Life, which featured a number of hit tracks such as "Higher Love" and "The Finer Things."

While he may be approaching his golden years, Winwood still remains an active performer, and as his 2008 album Nine Lives demonstrates, he has not slowed down.
