Stanford Basketball Tickets

Fear the tree! The Stanford Cardinal men's basketball team, which plays its games in Maple Pavilion and is famous for having a large tree for its mascot, has been one of the most successful programs in the country since rising to national prominence in the early 1990s. You may think of Palo Alto as a hotbed of innovation and technology, but you'll also come to know it as a center of hoops action once you pick up your Stanford basketball tickets and check out a game.

Between 1989 and 2008, the Cardinals made 15 NCAA tournament appearances, vaulting their way onto the national stage. Since the beginning of that remarkable run, Stanford has become almost as well known for its athletic prowess as it is for its academics and world-class research facilities.

The peak of that era of success came with a trip to the Final Four in 1998, but Sweet Sixteen appearances by the 1997, 2001 and 2008 squads were also momentous occasions in the program's history.

Although many great players have passed through Stanford's halls, the Collins twins - Jason and Jarron - who both played for the school during those peak years in the late 90s and early 2000s, might have been the most memorable. The two 7-footers helped Stanford stand head and shoulders above the pack during their years in Palo Alto. The twins graduated to the NBA in 2001, when Jason was selected as the number one draft pick for the Houston Rocketes and Jarron was selected as a round two draft pick for the Utah Jazz. Don't miss your chance to see this season's crop of pro-level players take the court LIVE at Maple Pavilion! Buy your Stanford basketball tickets now!
