Cheryl Rosner
President and CEO

Cheryl Rosner, President and CEO, is responsible for the overall direction and management of TicketsNow, a leading online secondary retailer of premium event tickets. She works closely with the TicketsNow executive team in developing strategies that will produce new offerings for consumers and foster future business growth.

Joining TicketsNow in May 2007, Cheryl has more than 15 years experience in successfully leading burgeoning businesses, including Expedia and Hotels.com. Serving as president of Expedia Corporate Travel from 2005 to 2006, Rosner directed the group to consistent profitability and growth, including the successful launch of two new international divisions in Canada and Germany.

From 1999 to 2005, Cheryl worked at Hotels.com in a number of executive capacities, including business development, supplier relations, marketing, and sales prior to becoming president of the company in 2003. Cheryl’s key accomplishments at Hotels.com include the successful launch of the company’s consumer Web site in 2002, leading it to become the 6th most-visited travel site 60 days after launch, and creation and development of the company’s brand strategy and award-winning advertising campaign.

In 2004, Cheryl was named one of the “25 Most Influential People in Travel” by Business Travel News. A native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Cheryl earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the University of Miami.

SHAWN FREEMAN
Chief Technology Officer and General Manager, Retail

In his role at TicketsNow, Shawn Freeman is responsible for developing and driving the overall product strategy and technology initiatives for the company. As the GM of Retail, he is also accountable for customer engagement and revenue for the company’s flagship direct-to-consumer Web site, TicketsNow.com.

Shawn’s previous roles include senior executive positions with significant responsibilities for creating and executing the online strategies for two industry-leading brands, Handango.com and Hotels.com.

While serving as CTO for Handango.com, the leading smartphone content retailer, Shawn was responsible for developing the product strategy to help lead the company’s strategic evolution from a content aggregator to mobile and web retailer. During his last year, he also served as the interim VP of Marketing and had P&L responsibility for the direct-to-consumer business.

Prior to Handango, Shawn served as CIO for Hotels.com, where he led strategic product planning, engineering and IT operations. While at Hotels.com, he was a key part of a senior team that led the transformation of the company from an aggregator of discount hotel rooms to the largest online retailer of lodging in the world, with more than 20 million monthly users across the global network of sites.

Before joining Hotels.com, Shawn was the senior vice president of operations for Hybrid, a boutique IT consultancy based in Dallas. At Hybrid, he was responsible for business development, client management, and delivery. Previous to Hybrid, Shawn founded Big Theory, a start-up consultancy acquired by Worldwide Xceed Group in 2000.

JOSH STEVENS
Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategy & Business Development

In his role at TicketsNow, Josh Stevens is responsible for increasing consumer and advertiser demand through strategic partnerships with media and content partners in the theater, concert, sports, and mobile categories.

Prior to joining TicketsNow, Josh spent 10 years at AOL in the consumer-internet business serving in a variety of corporate and line-management roles including corporate development, business development, product marketing, and consumer e-commerce.

While in Corporate & Business Development, Josh’s work supported the strategic vision of extending and deepening consumer engagement through the purchase and investment in large-audience Web properties including ICQ, Moviefone, Mapquest, Spinner, and Winamp.

As a product marketer, Josh co-invented and launched the first instant-message-in-a-browser product, and prior to that, designed and launched the first messaging-based-e-commerce product.

While serving as AOL’s General Manager of Mobile Commerce, Josh led the evolution of the mobile commerce strategy from a telecom model to a direct-marketing and media model, which aligned AOL’s mobile assets with its desktop assets and monetization strategy of the company.

Previous to AOL, Josh worked in Corporate Finance at Chase Manhattan Bank where he was responsible for financial and credit analysis for companies in the media and telecommunications sectors.

Josh serves as a Trustee for the Oatlands Partnership, a not-for-profit board that oversees and manages Oatlands, a 400-acre historic site of the National Trust of Historic Preservation, in Leesburg, Virginia.

JULIA VANDER PLOEG
Senior Vice President of Marketing

Julia Vander Ploeg oversees the marketing organization of TicketsNow. Her responsibilities include strategic brand development and positioning, advertising, promotions and merchandising, CRM, search, and affiliate marketing.

Julia brings 15 years experience to the company. Prior to joining TicketsNow, she served as a Marketing Director at Tribune Company, leading the successful rebranding and marketing launch of the Chicago Tribune website, and positioning the media company’s portfolio of brands for future growth in the digital environment.

Previous to the Tribune, Julia served as Vice President of Brand Marketing for The Mills Corporation in Arlington, Virginia, where she built a management team to direct marketing and communications strategy for a rapidly growing global portfolio of retail shopping centers. Prior to Mills, Julia spent three years in marketing and finance roles at United Airlines in Chicago. She started her career as a management trainee at the Ford Motor Company.

A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Julia received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She is on the Chicago Advisory Board for Taproot Foundation, engaging business professionals in pro bono service for area nonprofit organizations.

JOHN KETCHUM
Vice President, Corporate Programs

John Ketchum, Vice President, Corporate Programs, is responsible for the development and integration of a world-class sales platform, designed specifically to cater to the corporate marketplace.

Prior to joining TicketsNow, John held several sales and management positions with THG Worldwide (The Hospitality Group), a Marcus Evans company specializing in providing corporate hospitality during major international sporting events. During his tenure with THG, John was consistently their top producer and responsible for managing the National Accounts program, which became the primary revenue stream for THG. John's strong acumen for building and developing relationships earned him the position of Key Account Manager and Event Director during The Masters Tournament, where in his first year he achieved the highest rebooking rate of any event on the THG calendar.

Previously, John was VP of Sales and Sponsorship for Lakewaves Events, a Chicago-based event company created to provide revenue for several not-for-profit groups throughout Chicago. John is still heavily involved in helping to raise money and awareness for local schools and charities.

TODD RUMLOW
Vice President of Customer Care

With more than 15 years of retail sales/customer service management, Vice President of Customer Care Todd Rumlow excels in the area of improving the customer experience.

Since joining the company, he has enabled TicketsNow.com to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction by listening to the needs of the consumer and expecting only quality service from his employees.

Prior to becoming a member of the TicketsNow.com team, Todd was an Area Sales Manager with U.S. Cellular where he simultaneously managed up to 18 retail/customer service stores and kiosks. He was the first retail manager hired in 1996 to launch the largest carrier providing a digital wireless PCS service. His leadership played a key role in building the original five-store market to a thriving 35 points of presence, which covered Illinois and Indiana.
