Sonata Arctica Concert Tickets

The Finnish heavy metal band Sonata Arctica first came together in the small town of Kemi, Finland. Under the name Tricky Beans, the band put together three demos that were not directly in the metal genre. Due to personnel changes, they changed their name to Tricky Means in 1997 and started aligning their sound with metal bands such as Stratovarius. The band’s first album, Ecliptica, was released in 1999 by the Finnish label Spinefarm Records. With their new power metal sound, Sonata Arctica became comparable to Metallica, Iron Maiden and Disturbed. Sonata Arctica tickets promise a fast-paced metal experience showcasing the best of Finnish rock.

Sonata Arctica went on to release two more albums with Spinefarm, Silence and Winterheart’s Guild. This ended Sonata Arctica’s contract with the Finnish record label, and larger European companies began to vie for the band. After considering several record companies, Sonata Arctica decided on the German label Nuclear Blast. In 2004, the band recorded their fourth album, Reckoning Night. The success of this album would lead them to tours in the United States and Canada, as well as gain them a spot opening for Iron Maiden in Japan.
