Don't waste your money
By Digusted by the concert from NYC on 9/8/2010
Horrible concert
Crowd Was Not Into It, Poor Set List, Poor Sound Quality, Too Hot, Too Short
Best For:

Were do I start Well Billy Corgan was an amazing singer and I mean was literally the show was a horrible train wreck and the fact that he seemed to be on something didnt help. They played a few hits and maybe 3 at that and seemed to make up the rest as they went home and ordered pizza and down a cold one because it was a joke and I do not recommend for anyone to shatter their perception of what was once smashing pumpkins cause at that point I only wanted to smash my ears.....

Crowd Was Not Into It, Poor Set List

Billy Corgan should hang it up (and I hope you are reading this, William). When the artist has lost his creative edge, when the band's play is uninspired, and when the "creative force" that was Billy Corgan mocks his fans -- telling them to go to hell as they leave the theatre and patronizes those who pay to see him for the last 25 mins of the show, its a sign that it has become all about him, not celebrating the "music" as he likes to claim. He wants his "dream and his back back." I just want my money back. (NYC Concert, Thurs Nov 6, 2008)

Great Lighting, Great Sound
Crowd Was Not Into It
Best For:

The Clearwater Smashing Pumpkin show was awsome. The seats were unbelivable, right up front with Billy. SP played for almost three hours. Great show, better than expected.

Smashing Pumpkins Concert Tickets

The 1990s gave the music world some of the most memorable alternative rock bands in history, and the Smashing Pumpkins are certainly among them. Fronted by enigmatic lead singer Billy Corgan, the Chicago-based foursome was responsible for many of the biggest hits of the 90s, and today Smashing Pumpkins tickets offers fans the chance to relive the band's glory days.

The origins of the Smashing Pumpkins date back to the late 1980s, when Corgan teamed up with guitarist James Iha to lay the groundwork for what would become one of the most innovative bands of the next 10 years. After filling in the remaining parts of the band, the Smashing Pumpkins released their debut album, Gish, in 1991. While it did not have the mainstream success of the band's future records, it earned considerable critical acclaim.

After a moderately successful second album, the Smashing Pumpkins had their breakthrough with the release of 1995's Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The album featured some of their best known songs including "1979," "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" and "Tonight, Tonight," and reached the top of the Billboard 200 charts.

Despite their success, the Smashing Pumpkins broke up in 2000. However, after several years apart they reformed and today put on one of the best shows around. Don't miss Smashing Pumpkins perform LIVE! Buy your Smashing Pumpkins tickets today!
