Sizzla Concert Tickets

Sizzla Kalonji, aka Miguel Orlando Collins, is a reggae musician from Kingston, Jamaica. Known for his themes of the hard street life and vice in the big city, Sizzla has taken traditional grooving reggae beats and matched them with lyrics about the realities of modern-day Jamaica. Purchase some Sizzla tickets and enjoy a night out with one of Jamaica's best-selling reggae artists.

In the mid-1990s, Jamaica experienced an explosion of dance hall entertainment, paving the way for influencial reggae artists like Sizzla, Anthony B and Luciano. Sizzla was fascinated with the sound and began producing his own music. He used his songs as vehicles to help him spread his message of what he saw around him - poverty, violence and other social ills - to raise awareness among his fellow Jamaicans.

In 1995, he released his first solo album, Burning Up, with the help of Jamaican saxophonist Dean Fraser. Fraser, a respected music director for the digital reggae record label Xterminators, introduced Sizzla to record producer and owner Philip "Fats" Burrell. In 1996, Sizzla released Praise Ye Jah, a classic digital record album. And his next release, Black Woman & Child, and its title track, skyrocketed him into stardom. He has produced more than 70 solo albums since.
