This is a laugh out loud good time on Broadway. The cast is wonderful and Daniel Breaker(added in NY) as donkey is a great fit. Should be around for years and is great for everyone. Love the cast all of them, Perfect. I have seen this in Seattle and on Broadway now will see in many more times.

Shrek The Musical Theater Tickets

When it debuted in 2001, "Shrek" was one of the most innovative movies of its time. More than 10 years after its release, it is still regarded as a children's classic and was even turned into a stage show in the form of Shrek the Musical. Since 2008, fans of the film have been able to get a unique glimpse at the familiar story by purchasing Shrek the Musical tickets.

Development of Shrek the Musical began soon after the movie first hit theaters. Despite the quick start, it was not until 2007 that it moved toward production. Then, in 2008 the first performance debuted at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theater. By the end of the year it had made its way to Broadway.

Anybody familiar with the movie will certainly be acquainted with the plot, though it does feature a few differences here and there. Once again, Shrek is a solitary ogre living in the woods whose quiet life is interrupted when fairytale creatures invade his area after being pushed out of the local kingdom. In an effort to get his swamp back from the evil Lord Farquad, he agrees to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon, and eventually learns a thing or two about himself along the way. Seize your chance to get wrapped up in a classic plot; buy your Shrek The Musical theater tickets today!
