Sharon Jones Concert Tickets

Sharon Jones is an American singer best known for belting out powerful, soulful lyrics laced with incredible funk melodies in songs like "Retreat," "100 Days, 100 Nights," "Stranger To My Happiness" and "I Learned the Hard Way." In a career spanning more than 30 years, Sharon Jones has inspired generations of R&B, soul and funk artists like Mayer Hawthorne and Adele by blurring the boundaries of gospel and disco and turning every song into a party anthem. Purchase your Sharon Jones tickets today and enjoy a night full of dancing and laughter with one of the most talented artists of the 1970s.

Jones made a career of belting out lyrics of heartache and longing found in her songs, but she hadn't always experienced the success she has now. In her early 20s, Jones spent most of her time working as a backup singer for disco and blues artists, but couldn't find anyone to sign her. She spent the 1980s looking for a record label that could appreciate her talents, to no avail. It wasn't until the late 1990s that Desco Records would offer her a deal. After a few years with that label, Jones would end up releasing a full-length album with the Dap-Kings called Dap Dippin with Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings in 2002.
