Sasquatch Music Festival Tickets

Nestled against the Columbia River, the Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington, is known for being one of the most picturesque concert venues in the United States. Attending an event there is a breathtaking experience, making the Sasquatch Music Festival something that can't be missed. The yearly gathering, held toward the end of May, brings together some of the biggest names in indie rock, and landing some Sasquatch Music Festival tickets is any music lover's dream.

The festival was started in 2002 and its first year attracted a very limited slate of performers. Though it got some big names like Ben Harper and Jack Johnson, it only included seven acts and lasted just one day. However, that would soon change. By 2006, the line up had greatly expanded and the festival grew to a weekend-long event. That year featured the likes of The Decemberists, Death Cab for Cutie and Sufjan Stevens - all of whom are icons in the indie music scene.

Over the years, the Sasquatch Music Festival has also broadened its appeal. Though it still retains its indie-heavy slate it also has grown to include acts of several different genres including hard rockers Jane's Addiction and Foo Fighters as well as DJs Skrillex and Ratatat.
