Rangers Vs GIANTS
By Fred Funk from Pebble Beach, CA on 10/28/2010
Pros:
Good Concessions, Great Atmosphere, Great Fans, High Energy, Stadium Packed, The Crowd Loved It, Traffic Control
Cons:
MPH Display Screen, No Replays on Screen

The energy from the fans was incredible; the timing of the jets flying overhead just as we ended "home of the brave" was unbelievable; there were no replays on the JumboScreen (that was a bummer); the MPH display was on and off (that quick!) so you were unable to see the pithed ball's speed if you didn't look immediately after each pitch. We keep on seeing how Cliff Lee was "untouchable" and "off" on Game 1; Noooooo... the GIANTS proved otherwise; he IS touchable and his game was "ON" ~ GIANTS were better

San Francisco Giants Baseball Tickets

San Francisco may best be known for the Golden Gate Bridge or its rolling hills, but sports fans might also relish in the fact that the city is home to the San Francisco Giants. While it may seem natural to pick up San Francisco Giants tickets to see the history-rich franchise in action, the baseball team didn't actually get its roots from the Bay City.

The San Francisco Giants were originally established in New York, circa 1883, as a National League baseball club. The clubhouse didn't make the cross-country journey to California until 1958, where it became a part of the West Division. Though they started their baseball livelihood in New York, the Giants relocated to sunny San Francisco in the late 1950s despite objections from minority shareholders. The Orange and Black hold several division titles and pennants in addition to World Series championship triumphs.

It's not just the vast history that draws in crowds; it's also the team's winning record. Giants fans have seen the franchise take home more than 20 National League pennants as well as a slew of other important awards. Over more than a century, the team has played in more than 18 World Series games, winning several of the matchups, including beating the Detroit Tigers in 2012. The clubhouse saw success thanks to key players like Marco Scutaro and Buster Posey. The franchise is also home to a number of Baseball Hall of Famers including Orlando Cepeda, Willie Mays and Gaylord Perry.

As is the norm in MLB, the Giants have their rivals. One of the most intense contentions in professional baseball is in the West Division between the Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers, a historical feud dating back to the late 19th century. The New York Yankees also fall into the historical feud realm from when the Giants had their home on the East Coast. Pulling up the rear on enmity is the geographic rivalry with the Oakland Athletics.

Regardless if they are home or away, the San Francisco Giants draw crowds of fans that love the team's level of play! Fans declare that the Giants are a great baseball experience for the whole family! Make sure that you are close to the action at AT&T Park to cheer your favorite players on when you purchase your San Francisco Giants baseball tickets today!
