We had a great time. Our team winning helped alot! Except for a unruly drunken fan of the opposing team it was a good time. We will do it again next year.

Thought I could have gotten a better deal on my tickets if I had bought them from a scalper instead of paying so much for them on this site. :( Buy your tickets some where else.

Despite my 9ers being humbled by the boys from Seattle, the atmosphere at Candlestick was magic and San Francisco is such a beautiful city with so many other attractions. San Francisco 49ers Tickets
The Bay Area has a long history of success in professional sports, and that is thanks in large part to the San Francisco 49ers. They have been a staple in the National Football League since the 1950s, and have given their fans multiple championships, legendary players and iconic coaches, so it's no wonder San Francisco 49ers tickets are in high demand.

The San Francisco 49ers are members of the West Division of the NFC in the NFL. The team’s home field is Candlestick Park located in San Francisco proper. Established in 1946, the Niners were originally members of the AAFC before joining the NFL when the conference folded in 1950. The team’s moniker stems from the infamous California Gold Rush and the 49ers-niners nickname that was given to the gold prospectors.

Though the San Francisco 49ers paved the way as the first professional sports franchise based on the West Coast, they only made it to second place in the league during their first few years because the Cleveland Browns were dominating most of the conference. It wasn’t until 1957 that the 49ers would take pleasure in their first triumphs as NFL members. The Bay Bombers gained momentum and San Francisco 49ers tickets became a hot commodity. They ended the 1957 season with an 8-4 record tying with the Detroit Lions for the Western Division title.

Over the next few decades the Niners were plagued with a streak of bad luck and bad choices. The 49ers only enjoyed intermittent success before a string of playoff runs in the 1970s. A number of player acquisitions, including O.J. Simpson in 1977 and Joe Montana in 1978, were meant to move the team out of its rut. It wasn't until the 1980s that they became one of the most prolific teams in the league's history, largely in part, due to the emergence of Joe Montana.

The team’s downgrade didn’t truly break until 1981 when they brought home the Super Bowl title. Under Montana's steady hand, the 49ers dominated the 80s, winning Super Bowl titles in 1981, 1984, 1988 and 1989, making it one of the most impressive decades ever for an NFL team. Though it's hard to top what Montana did during the 80s, the 49ers have still come close. Steve Young led them to another title in 1994, and a slew of young stars brought them to the top of the NFC West in 2011 and 2012.

Owners of several division and conference championship wins, the San Francisco 49ers have made numerous Playoff appearances and were the first team to win five Super Bowls. The 49ers enjoy a variety of rivalries starting with the once bitter historical opposition against the Dallas Cowboys, then moving on to the cross-town contention with the Oakland Raiders and finishing up with divisional foes of St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals.
