San Antonio Rampage Hockey Tickets

The San Antonio Rampage is an ice hockey team that competes in the American Hockey League. It was created in 2000 after the owner of the San Antonio Spurs purchased the dormant AHL team, the Adirondack Red Wings. The Rampage is a close affiliate of the Spurs and plays in the same stadium, the AT&T center. Purchase some San Antonio Rampage tickets and cheer on the team as they push for their first AHL championship title.

In 2011, the Rampage had one of the most successful seasons in franchise history. The organization finished with a stellar record of 41-30-3-2, which was enough to earn them 87 points and qualify them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

In the opening games of the conference playoffs, they easily defeated the Chicago Wolves to start off the series 2-0. But the Wolves would not back down, and they won the next two games to tie the series at 2-2. In the final match, The Rampage jumped to a quick 2-0 lead. Undeterred, the Wolves scored back-to-back goals to tie the game at the end of regulation play. Twenty-five minutes into overtime, Rampage defenseman Roman Derlyuk scored on an assist from Jon Matsumoto, clinching the franchise's first series win.
