Rose Parade Tickets

The Rose Parade is an annual event held every year in Pasadena, California. The festival includes flower-covered floats and marching bands, and it is followed by the Rose Bowl college football game on New Year's Day. The parade's first year was 1890, and it is watched by thousands of live spectators and millions of television viewers every year. To be a part of this historic event, get your Rose Parade tickets right away.

The Rose Parade began as a way to promote the Valley Hunt Club in Pasadena. The club invited East Coasters to enjoy a warm holiday where they would watch jousting, polo and chariot races in the beautiful California weather. The club added the parade after realizing the amount of fresh flowers present in the area even in the middle of winter. The parade took place before the competitions, and participants decorated their floats with flowers.

Soon, the festival began to include motorized floats and marching bands. In 1895, the Tournament of Roses Association took over the preparations for the festival from the Valley Hunt Club. Today, the Rose Parade boasts detailed floats with computerized animation and unique decor. Most floats are built by professional companies and take almost a year to build.
