Rodney Carrington Theater Tickets

Only several performers have succeeded at both stand-up comedy and music, and Rodney Carrington is among them. A talented country singer and hilarious stand-up, the Texas native has cultivated a loyal fan following over the last decade, and today anybody who picks up Rodney Carrington tickets is surely in for a good show.

Carrington first got his start performing strictly comedy, but it wasn't long before he ventured into the country music realm. He released his first album, Hangin' With Rodney in 1998, and while it performed only modestly on the country charts, his unique brand of comedy and musical styling laid the groundwork for what would prove to be a successful next several years.

After his next two albums continued to attract more fans, Carrington nabbed his first big hit with the release of the 2007 album King of the Mountains. The record performed well on mainstream and country charts, and while it still included some comedy fare, it also featured one of his more serious songs, "Angel Friend," which was recorded as a tribute to one of his deceased friends.

Carrington remains a popular performer in both the country and comedy worlds, and given his loyal fan base, that will likely be the case for years to come.
