I went to ROTR in 2009. It was an outstanding show. The 3 stage setup was great and set times were staggered well so that you can see a lot of the bands. Where else can you go to see that many great bands in one event? The only issue I had was that maybe there were too many bands. Some set times were short, because of the limited amount of time available to keep the show rolling. It was a great event though, and I will be back again!
This is, hands-down, one of the best rock festivals in the United States. Went last year and am going again this year. The only gripe is the food vendors were kind of pricey but that's to be expected with a festival. Everything else went smoothly and was well organized. You didn't have to search for the beer vendors and there was barely ever a line for the girls bathroom. The lineup last year was perfect and this year is awesome too. The side stages give you the opportunity to get up close and check out some new talent. The main stage gets crowded but there's just as much of a party further back. Can't wait!

Thank you for making the sound completely suck for the whole show except for Stone Temple Pilots. Dis turbed is WAAAAAAAAAAY bigger these days than they (STP) are these days, as are several of the other bands, and you used a power reduction system on the sound that literally made it painful to hear the bands play. It sounded as if the sound was bouncing back and forth, left and right. In general, it all sounded horrible. Everyone around us argreed with this assessment.In general, we will NEVER attend rock on the range again, and neither will anyone that we know, after hearing about the horrible sound quality.I also feel ripped off that half the listed bands did not show.What the hell is the deal that only the last band gets to have good sound.
