Robin Thicke Concert Tickets

Robin Thicke and his extensive catalog pre-date his 2013 breakout pop hit "Blurred Lines." Despite the single's success, the genre is not his forte. Thicke has been churning out R&B hits since the late 1990s, co-writing songs for artists like Brandy, Jordan Knight and Christina Aguilera. However it wasn't until the 2000s that Thicke would trade his pen and paper for the mic and the stage. Hit songs like 2008's "Magic" and "The Sweetest Love," making Robin Thicke tickets a must-have for any fan!

Despite his slow rise to fame, Thicke was no stranger to the celebrity. Born and raised in LA, as the son of successful singer/actress Gloria Loring and Alan Thicke, best known for his role as the dad on the 1980s sitcom "Growing Pains," he grew up with Hollywood at his backdoor. His parents even co-wrote the TV show theme songs for "Different Strokes" and "The Facts of Life."

After a decade of writing music for other artists, the blue-eyed Canadian, released his 2006 album The Evolution of Robin Thicke, featuring popular songs like "I Wanna Love You Girl, "Shooter" featuring Lil Wayne and the No. 1 Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Hit "Lost Without U." The Billboard hit made Thicke the first white male since George Michael to make it to the top of the R&B singles chart, and with the song's success, The Evolution of Robin Thicke later went platinum.

Following the release of his 2006 album, Thicke went on tour with India.Arie and opened for John legend. Unfortunately, Thicke's next two follow up albums flopped, never breaking 500,000 in sales. Still, the singer/songwriter kept true to his original 70s-inspired R&B roots. Inspired by his idols Marvin Gaye, John Lennon and Bob Marley, Thicked continued to produce music with a message, centered on social issues and personal struggle.

After 20 years of cranking out heart-felt R&B ballads, Thicke crossed over to pop radio with the controversial 2013 No. 1 hit "Blurred Lines," which quickly gained critical acclaim and criticism for its risque lyrics, and music video. The "Blurred Lines" music video provoked positive and negative press, turning the seasoned soul singer into an overnight pop star. The controversy surrounding the song continued to swirl after Thicke's live performance with Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The performance generated so much hype; it became the most tweeted event in history, with an estimated 360,000 tweets per min, putting former recorder holder Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show to shame. Don't miss Robin Thicke's exciting LIVE performance! Buy your Robin Thicke tickets now!
