Ringling Bros B&B Circus
By Karen from Tallahassee, FL on 1/29/2012
Amateurish, Boring Plot, Poorly Acted

Very boring and not enough animals. Some of the acts were just to long and boring. Took my 3 grandchildren and they kept asking when was it going to be over.

Barnum and Bailey, animal abuse
By Greg from Chicago from Chicago, Illinois on 11/28/2010
Great Costumes

Not sure what many reviews are talking about re: animal abuse. I saw nothing of the sort and the animals seemed very well cared for and in excellent health. I really think many of these posts are plants. People, these animals are most likely well treated. If abused, they would likely exhibit fear. They do not. This show is great for kids and is needed to pull people's heads away from LCD screens all day. Review and verify humane treatment, and this show must go on.

Animals treated badly, Boring Plot
Best For:
No one

I can't believe I wasted money on this - It was short, boring and the animal acts scared my son. He was horrified at how scared the elephants looked and how the tigers were treated. He started crying.. Don't waste your money!!! Don't go..!!

Great Costumes, Great Lighting/Effects

There were protesters outside and my husband told one to take their vegan **** elsewhere. They're talking to the wrong family. The show itself was pretty good. And then we got to take our daughter backstage which I thought was just going to make the evening 1,000 times better. It was about an hour after the show was over and all of the elephants were back there chained up. They were stepping from side to side to side to side which is exactly what I would do if I couldn't walk around. The one guy with the elephants had a bullhook just like the protesters were going on about. So I asked him why he had it, after all, he didn't have to carry it during the show. And he said that they do carry it during the show, they just hide it up their sleeves. Seeing those magnificent creatures up close, plus the chains, and the swaying and then finding out that they do carry those things all the time. It was too much. And to top it off, my girl kept asking the whole way home why they didn't let the elephants go play. And I was left trying to explain something that I couldn't fully explain to myself. Horrible. We will not go back.

Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus Tickets

When members of the Ringling family joined forces with James Anthony Bailey and P.T. Barnum more than 100 years ago, they could have never imagined what their partnership would mean to the circus world. Today, throngs of spectators clamor to get their hands on Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey tickets, and for good reason - it's one of the most exciting shows in the world.

The two groups came together in 1907 when the Ringling Brothers purchased Barnum and Bailey's circus. Though the two operated separate for the next 12 years, by 1919 they had consolidated their efforts. Ever since, the circus has survived the ups and downs of world events to provide an escape from everyday life.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey have certainly earned the title of “Greatest Show on Earth.” While they have all the regular trappings of a circus, from clowns to acrobats to a band, perhaps the most popular aspects of their performances is the amazing animals that come on the circus train to every stop along the tour. Though the circus features tigers, horses and zebras, the highlight will always be the enormous and majestic elephants. Treat the whole family to the wonder and amazement; purchase your Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus tickets today!
